How to use online gantt chart templates in TeamGantt
These templates were all designed to give you a head start on project planning. Best of all, it’s easy to change things around and customize the gantt chart to your project needs.
Here’s how it works:
1. Start by logging into your TeamGantt account. Don’t have one? Sign up for free!
2. Go to My Projects > New Project > Create a New Project, and fill in your basic project information.
Fresh new look alert! We’re always looking for new ways to make TeamGantt clean and simple, so we’ve given the Create a New Project page a fresh facelift. It’s designed to make creating projects even easier and breezier—whether you’re on desktop or mobile.
3. You have 2 different options for choosing a template for your new project:
If you already know which template you want to use: Click the Template dropdown to pop open the full list of gantt chart templates, and choose the one you want to apply to your new project.
To preview a template first: Click Preview template below the Template dropdown to pop open the templates hub. Select a template from the list along the left to view it on the right side of your screen. Click the Use Template button in the lower right to apply the template to your new project.
4. Once you’ve chosen a template, enter a start date for your project. If you leave it blank, the project start date defaults to the current date.
5. Choose the details you want to import from the template.
6. Complete the rest of the new project details, then click Create new project to go to your gantt chart.
7. From there, you can add, rename, delete, or rearrange tasks to make the project yours.
