We're really excited to announce some great new updates to the 'My Tasks' view in TeamGantt that will make it even easier to get right to the information you need and get more done in less time. Let's jump right in, shall we?
First up, we've updated the overall look and feel and made it easier to update your progress on a task, and add comments or upload files. The My Tasks view will also now always show your starred projects first and tasks will show up in the order they're in inside their respective projects.
We've added the option to 'star' a task. This is a great feature for marking tasks as important. Just hover your mouse cursor to the left of the task name and click the blue star icon when it appears. Once you've starred the tasks you want, you can check the 'Show just starred items' box and the My Tasks view will only show you the tasks you've starred. This is a great way to create a quick list of tasks to start working on right away.
The Weekly view has also gotten some attention. First, you can now scroll through in two week increments. We've also updated filter options and even added a search to the people and resources filter. Once you've chosen the filters you want, you can click the 'Make Home Page' button, in the upper right corner, to make the weekly view, with the selected filters applied, your home page. Now, when you log in or click the TeamGantt logo in the sidebar, you'll be taken directly to your customized home page. If weekly view isn't your thing, you could also make the Daily, or List view your custom home page. Applied filters will be saved in Daily and List views as well.
You may have also noticed a Track Time button. With our new time tracking software feature, you can be more productive, estimate project scope more accurately, and accurately track hours spent on a particular task.
