Bring order to your Trello boards

Boards are great for keeping things moving. Gantt charts make sure the right things happen at the right time.

Track every project in one place

See how everything fits together across multiple projects. The plan stays front and center, so teams and priorities line up and nothing falls through the cracks.

Map out what has to happen first

Trello doesn't track dependencies. Link related tasks in TeamGantt so handoffs are clear and nothing starts before it's ready.

Balance workloads across your team

See who's carrying what without leaving Trello, then shift assignments in TeamGantt before anyone gets overloaded.

Stay flexible as projects evolve

Spot bottlenecks early and adjust plans quickly with drag-and-drop controls. Shift priorities without losing sight of the goal.

Watch the Power-Up in action

Connect your board and give your agile workflow a schedule it can follow.

“TeamGantt has been a great tool for our team. We manage dozens of renovation projects, from conception to production. TeamGantt, combined with Trello, has made it easier for our team to see the big picture, as well as to plan tasks with precision. Couldn’t work without it.”

Frequently asked questions

Does Trello have a Gantt chart?

Trello doesn't have a full Gantt chart. Its Timeline view, available on Trello's Premium and Enterprise plans, lays cards out by date, but Trello has no built-in task dependencies. The TeamGantt Power-Up connects your board to a Gantt chart with dependencies, assignments, and progress tracking. Our Trello Gantt chart guide walks through it step by step.

How do I set up the TeamGantt Power-Up for Trello?

Add the TeamGantt Power-Up from your board's Power-Ups menu. Then sign in to TeamGantt, or create an account, and authorize the connection. Choose Auto sync to connect the board to one project, or Manual sync to pick cards yourself. You'll need to be a board Admin. In Safari, turn off Prevent cross-site tracking first. The setup guide has every step.

Does the TeamGantt Power-Up sync both ways?

Auto sync works both ways for new items. New Trello cards become TeamGantt tasks, and new TeamGantt tasks become cards, as soon as they're created. Manual sync works one way, from Trello to TeamGantt. That gives you time to finish a card's details before you send it to the schedule.

Can I sync more than one Trello board or TeamGantt project?

Yes, with Manual sync. You can connect one board to several projects, several boards to one project, or several boards to several projects. Each card links to one project at a time. Auto sync always pairs one board with one project. See Trello sync options for setup.

What syncs between Trello and TeamGantt?

Task names and start and end dates sync between Trello and TeamGantt. Dependencies, assignments, and percent complete are managed in TeamGantt and show on the linked Trello card. Checklists, attachments, and comments stay in Trello. Trello lists don't sync to TeamGantt groups.

Can moving a Trello card update progress in TeamGantt?

Yes. In the Power-Up settings, give a Trello list a Percent Complete value. Set Done to 100%, and dragging a card into Done marks its task complete in TeamGantt. Turn on Automatically Move Card to make it work in reverse: When a task reaches a list's percentage, its card moves to that list. Here's how to sync list progress.

Will my existing Trello cards and TeamGantt tasks sync?

Existing Trello cards sync into TeamGantt when you turn on the Power-Up. Existing TeamGantt tasks don't appear in Trello automatically. With Auto sync, you can bring them over by duplicating the tasks in TeamGantt and deleting the originals. The copies count as new tasks, so they create matching cards on your board.

Can my teammates see the Gantt chart in Trello?

Yes, once each person connects. The TeamGantt Power-Up is set up per user, so adding it to a board doesn't give everyone access. Invite teammates to your TeamGantt project. Then each person adds the Power-Up on the board and signs in with the same TeamGantt login they use for that project.
