As a project manager, your job relies on your ability to move quickly and get as much done as possible each day—and we want to help you do that. That’s why we recently made the switch to Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud-based computing platform. We won’t bog you down with the nitty-gritty details, but this move does bring some really cool benefits for you.

Faster performance

We’re already up and running on Amazon’s Ohio data center, and you should be able to work 2x faster in TeamGantt as a result of that move. Here’s a before-and-after snapshot of the speed difference from the week we made the switch:

AWS speed graph showing improved performance

The next step is to add a second data center in London, which should come online very soon. If you live and work in Europe or Asia, you’ll see an even bigger boost in speed once London’s goes live.

Better scalability

Prior to this move, TeamGantt’s servers had a ceiling, and we had hit our max. Now, our servers can scale in real time. If traffic spikes, we’ll handle it so you can continue business as usual.

More redundancy

We’ve essentially quadrupled our redundancy by switching to AWS. Here’s why that matters: If one data center crashes or gets hit by an unexpected disaster, another one can take over with minimal effect on your uptime. You can keep your projects moving forward toward the finish line!
