Brett Harned: Hi and thank you for checking out The Art & Science of Project Leadership. My name's Brett Harned and I'm the director of education at TeamGantt. I've got nearly 20 years experience working on and leading projects of all types and sizes, but mostly in the digital space. I'm excited, in this course, to share my knowledge, experience and even some war stories with you. Chances are, if you're watching this you're a project leader or maybe even as aspiring project leader. But what does that even mean?
Well, it can mean a lot. You could be a project manager, solely responsible for keeping your projects on track. You could also have another title like producer or project leader, something along those lines. You might be a practitioner, like a designer or a researcher or developer, or some other role where you're focused on that job, but you also have to manage projects.Or maybe you're a business owner who wants to gain some efficiency in the way your projects are run in your business.
This course is going to help you to level up your leadership skills and project management skills no matter your role, because you are a project leader. This is what you're going to get. 14 classes with topics ranging from estimating and planning to communications and meeting management, downloads in the form of templates, resources, articles, inspiration and even some complementary video and audio. You'll gain an understand of what makes leadership artful and gain tactics, tips and templates to master the science of project leadership.
